The special Rehabilitation Medical Team plans and realizes the recovery of patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions in closed or day care. The members of the Medical Team meet on a weekly basis and work closely for the patient’s progress.
The task of the physiatrist together with the special Rehabilitation team of Euromedica-Arogi of Thessaloniki is that the patient, who suffers from orthopedic-musculoskeletal deficiencies, must overcome the physical limitation and achieves the greatest possible functionality.
In Euromedica-Arogi of Thessaloniki a specialized Orthopedic-Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation program is set up, driven by the care of and excellent service of the patient as well as the recent scientific researches and rehabilitation techniques.
The path leading to rehabilitation runs through various stages. Each of them is designed to bring the patient closer to the achievement of his goals. The assessment of the patient is conducted by the FIM® indicator (Functional Independence Measure). This indicator depending on the measurement results reflects the degree of functional ability and is an important tool for the assessment of the implementation and the progress of the Orthopedic-Musculoskeletal Program.
